Today we make our way into the text of Titus. In this lesson we see the motivation for Paul's writing, and we else delve into the fact that believers in Christ are chosen, or are they choice? There is a difference, and in this message we see the different uses of the word in the Bible and come to a confident conclusion in this area of theology that causes so much confusion.
In this message we look at the qualifications for a pastor in the local church. Paul left Titus in Crete so that he would set things in order for the church on this island. The first thing he was to do was to appoint elders, but they needed to be men of a certain quality. Join us as we look into this important topic.
Join us for this important message from God's word. The church today is inundated with false teaching and false teachers. Paul warned Titus of this incredible danger 2000 years ago. If only the church would heed the warning of Paul from Scripture, then we would enjoy a tremendous blessing from God and His word.
If there is one thing the modern church needs today it is sound doctrine. Join us as we look into the command that Paul gave Titus 2000 years ago concerning this important topic. God's word is quick and powerful, and it is able to penetrate into people's hearts and minds.
There is much confusion in today's church concerning the role of women. However, the Scripture is clear when it defines the various roles that men and women are to fulfill within the church and the home. Women play a critical role, that if it is not filled leads to the downfall of families, then the church, and ultimately the society itself. Join us as we look to see what the Scriptures say concerning this important topic.

The rapture or second coming, what's next? Bible prophecy makes a distinction between the second coming of Jesus Christ, and the rapture of the church. Paul explains that the church will be raptured before the wrath of God is poured out during a seven year tribulation period. After the tribulation has been completed Jesus Christ will come again to judge the world and set up His millennial kingdom on earth.
The Lord wants us to be zealous for Him. He died for us to redeem us from sin and to purify us for His possession. We are justified by faith and sanctified when we walk by faith.
Why do we teach the things that we teach? What is the authority behind what we do in the church? The answer is the word of God. We teach about the free offer of salvation to the world because the Bible tells us to. We teach about living the Christian life because the word does. We teach about the Pre-Tribulation Rapture because it is what the Bible teaches. The authority for the church is the word of God.
Good morning and welcome to Flushing Bible Church Sunday morning worship service. Pastor Kurt will be continuing our study in Titus.
The Word of God is sufficient for all of our needs. Not only does it tell us how to have eternal life, but it also tells us how to have a church. What should the pastor be doing, what should be his focus? In this lesson we see what pastor should be doing, and what should be avoided.
Paul wrote this letter to Titus so that the church on Crete would be set in order. One keys to having order is solid doctrine, and so Paul warns Titus to reject heretics. False teachers spread strife and lead people into sin. So, we must be certain to walk in the truth of God's word, and reject those who who do not.
Paul instructs Titus to make sure that Zenas the lawyer and Apollos are well-supported for their journey, providing for their needs. The passage reflects Paul's concern for the welfare of fellow workers in the gospel and the practical arrangements for ministry. It concludes with a general exhortation for believers to learn to devote themselves to good works to meet pressing needs and promote fruitful lives.
