Election: God's Appointment Plan

Election; this word, perhaps more than any in Christianity, conjures up all kinds of thoughts in our minds. These thoughts can often be characterized as "presuppositions," and presuppositions are something to be avoided at all costs when it comes to studying the Bible. In this lesson we look at the words that are translated in our English Bibles as chose, chosen, and elect in order to properly understand what Paul is talking about in this opening praise statement in the book of Ephesians. In order to understand this concept we look at one of Jesus's well known parables, the Parable of the Wedding Feast.
